Sherri McCrory

I started working for McCrory Insurance Agency in 2017 at the front desk before getting my license in Property, Casualty, Life & Health. I am now Office Manager and the Life & Health Representative.

I grew up in Plentywood and graduated Plentywood High School in 2012. I attended Cosmetology School for a short time, realizing that was not the career for me. I started working for Sherri & finally found a career I am very passionate about & love. I got married to my husband, Brad, in 2021 and in November 2022 we welcomed our daughter, Clara, into the world. Brad has worked in the Oilfield Industry for several years and helps his dad on their Family Farm by Froid, MT.

When I am not in the office you can find me golfing in the summer, cheering on the Wildcats, hanging out with my family or attending Book Club. We also have 2 dogs (Koda & Quincy) & 2 cats (Winifred & Willow) who keep us pretty busy.

I am very thankful for the community I grew up in and can't wait to raise my children in that same community.

I was born and raised in Northeast Montana and am the oldest of 4 children. We bopped around growing up, living in Plentywood, Culbertson, Dagmar, Medicine Lake, Billings and Raymond. I started in the workforce when I was 15 and graduated from Plentywood High School with the class of 2015.

Outside of business hours you can find me at home pretending I know how to paint, snuggled with my cats and a good book, hovering over my houseplant collection or cruising to some good music with my boyfriend, Cody.

Before starting with McCrory Insurance Agency in October of 2019 as an Auto and Fire Representative, I worked in the food service industry, childcare and retail. I applied for McCrory Insurance Agency on a whim and simply haven't looked back. I adore our community and enjoy working in a field that allows me to help those in it.

I am the Farm/Ranch Representative here at McCrory Insurance Agency for the past year and a half. Before joining Sherri and her team, I worked at Rocky Mountain for nearly 10 years. The transition from helping folks with their banking needs to their insurance needs has been a very natural and rewarding career path for me.

I grew up in the Bitterroot Valley in the small town of Stevensville just 25 miles south of Missoula. I attended college at the University of Montana in Missoula, where I met my future husband, JJ. We moved to Denver area in Colorado and lived there quite happily for several years. After our firstborn came along, we decided to come back home to Montana, settling down here in Sheridan County so we could raise our family in the close-knit community JJ knew growing up. He is living the dream farming his family land south of Redstone, while our two brilliant and talented teenage children attend Plentywood Schools.

I am the office receptionist, but am able to give quotes for auto, home, etc. I joined Sherri and her team almost 7 years ago. Prior to that I was manager of the Gold Dollar for 23 years. Joining Sherri’s office has been a wonderful and rewarding new adventure for me. I am learning something new every day and enjoy meeting new people and being able to help.

I grew up in Raymond, MT, the 2nd child of Gerald and Donna Kohler. In the fall of 2009, my significant other, John P Olson, and I bought the Chub and Phyllis Fink farmstead and have made it our home ever since. If I am not in the house, you can always find me out in my yard, in which I so enjoy planting flowers and gardening.

I have two children, both grown and each have families of their own. Between John and I, we have 6 grandchildren. It is always fun to have them around and they all love to help me out, especially in the kitchen cooking and baking.
